OUR NAME IS CHANGED

We have changed our name from the NEW TRADITION COALITION to DRAW THE LINE LAWRENCE so it better fits our purpose and mission. We call on all community members to come together and DRAW THE LINE on underage drinking and drug use for a healthier and safer place to live.

INTERNET SAFETY


Brian Runk of Headquarters Counseling Center in Lawrence gave a very informative seminar Thursday Feb. 19th. Teens are suseptable to harassment and bullying online. There is also a trend of "sextexting" among teens. We parents need to be aware of these trends, the legalities involved, and signs it may possibly be happening to their child. Most cyberbullying goes unreported. It becomes a heavy burden to bear. Great resource! I used a contract similar to the one in the link with my kids- it was a great coversation starter.- Jen
